At Care For You our focus is to provide the BEST care. Our Passion is to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients
“Di, Paula, Ric, Bon and the staff at Care For You provide care for me.I have high-level quadriplegia as a result of a MVA just over 6 years ago. Care for You's comprehensive approach to my personal care takes the worries away from me and my family, who are unable to provide the necessary high need care I require in my or their homes. The competent care, humour, and compassion of my carers has been comforting for me and my whole family. I know all the staff on a first name basis and consider them friends more so than coordinators or directors of a care agency. The staff at Care for You make regular visits to my home and work like a family, they often spend quality time with me beyond the call of duty and cater to all my needs, often taking me or inviting me to events like the tennis, movies etc... They also support and really take excellent care of my carers and their occasional changing needs, they all really enjoy working for them. I have tried many agencies over the past 5 1/2 years including the largest and supposedly more reputable ones and can highly recommend the services of Di and the team at Care for You.” Mr A. Client

Taxol stabilizes growing nerve cells and reduces the barrier-function of scar tissue
After a spinal cord injury a number of factors impede the regeneration of nerve cells. Two of the most important of these factors are the destabilization of the cytoskeleton and the development of scar tissue. While the former prevents regrowth of cells, the latter creates a barrier for severed nerve cells.
Apps designed for SmartPhones (Blackberry, Iphone, Android) and IPads can help increase independence and improve the quality of life for people who have limited mobility from paralysis. These apps can be powerful tools for people living with a spinal cord injury or using a wheelchair due to another injury or disease. The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation have created the Guide to the Best Apps for People Living with Paralysis to help people find those apps that will most enhance their lives.
“"My name is Peter and I am 31 years old, I have a high level spinal injury and I am living alone. I was wondering how long I would be able to carry on with the tasks of day to day living until I heard about Care For You. I was tired of not having carers turn up and carers with poor skills relative to my needs. My case manager told me about another service that I should contact. I did and after an interview, I was sent caring, compassionate caregivers that were uniquely trained and suited my needs, enabling me to remain in the home I love." ” Mr P. Client
